Creating a Man's Gift Basket

Men aren't always on the giving end of gift baskets. They're also receiving these custom creations. Men love baskets as much as women because of several reasons. They:

  • Enjoy items that can be eaten right away at an office desk or in front of a television.
  • Like experimenting with new scents, smells, and scrubs that pamper the skin.
  • Jump for joy when receiving new gadgets and tools that make life easy and down time fun.

Consider the container chosen for your men's themes as much as you consider the products that will be included. Your first question to the client is, "Is he a corporate guy, or are sports more in line with his persona?" From there, you'll decide if a half globe container ("the world is yours" theme) or a fishing tackle box ("catch the big one" theme) is appropriate.

Here's a quick list of what to consider when making gift baskets for men.

  • Foods (sausage, cheese crackers)
  • Pamper/Spa (lotions, scrubs, sprays, soft facial brushes)
  • Sports (favorite team memorabilia, mugs, sports balls)
  • Automobiles (tire cleaners, wax/polish, air fresheners)

You'll find more options for men on the products and supplies page.
